The project shall deliver on time, to the right cost and with expected quality. The expected quality is based on the sometimes contradictory stakeholder requirements on the system. Our System Engineering Managers take responsibility for managing the full spectrum of requirements and ensure that the delivered system complies with the expectations.
What is Systems Engineering Management?
Our Systems Engineering Managers (SEM) take a leading role in a project team and produce a plan for the technical project management. Through an iterative process the requirements and design are coupled with the integration, verification, and validation with the purpose of providing the required information for facilitating the right kind of analyses and for making informed decisions in the early phases of the project. The SEM plans and performs the required technical reviews – project internal, as well as external – as a part of the project governance. The work process is documented in a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) which will become a part of your project plan. Our SEM will thereafter manage the daily work according to the plan, as part of the project work.
Why do you need Systems Engineering Management?
- To ensure that the complete set of requirements is identified, balanced, and translated into a complete system
- To create a system instead of just a collection of parts
- To enable an early understanding of the factors that drive cost and risk and handle the consequences
- To reduce the number of late and costly changes
