The upcoming edition of the Winter School takes place from 18–23 January 2026 and features one course—Managing Complex Systems Projects:
- Winter School on Managing Complex Systems Projects. Dr Dinesh Verma, Stevens Institute of Technology, USA, and Tom Strandberg, CSEP, CAG Syntell AB, Malin Calemark, CAG Syntell, Dr Jeff Wilcox, formerly VP (Engineering) and VP (Digital Transformation), Lockheed Martin. Succeeding in projects with both high technical and organisational complexity presents significant challenges. This course provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage these challenges. This intensive week is based on a balanced integration of relevant aspects from Systems Engineering (SE), Systems Thinking, and Project Management (PM)—all to ensure you can confidently deliver systems that meet both technical requirements and business goals.
Location
The course is held in the idyllic village of Tällberg, located in the heart of Dalarna, approximately 250 km northwest of Stockholm. Tällberg is known for its picturesque and scenic environment, with views over the beautiful Lake Siljan and surrounding mountains. Here, culture blends with a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect place to combine focused studies with relaxation and outdoor activities.
Times/Travel
The course starts on Sunday, 18 January 2026 at 15:30. The easiest way to reach Tällberg is by train or car. We arrange transport from Tällberg railway station to the course venue. The course concludes on Friday, 23 January 2026 at 14:00.
Price
The course fee is SEK 36 995 and includes course participation, course materials, and a diploma. Additionally, there is a cost for accommodation, SEK 11 500, which includes a room and all meals up to and including lunch on Friday. All prices are excluding VAT.

We want to reward those who register in good time! If you register before 15 October 2025, you receive our “Early Bird” discount—10% off the course fee! We also offer a group discount if you are a group of five participants, equating to one (1) free course fee.
